R.I.E.- A Mindful Parenting Class
Resources for Infant Educarers(RIE) is a non-profit membership organization founded in 1978 by Magda Gerber, M.A., child therapist, and author of Dear Parent: Caring for Infants with Respect and Your Self-Confident Baby, which is featured on Oprah’s Books. Magda Gerber’s goal as an educator was to bring consciousness, respect, and authenticity to caring for young children. Eileen Henry introduces the parent education program whose core principles – respect for the child, sensitive observation, and trust in the child to be an initiator, an explorer and a self-learner – ease parenting stress and help infants and toddlers (3 months to 3 years) develop physical and emotional confidence.

Soul Sweat
Instructor, Sarah Kelton
Sarah Kelton was born and raised in West Chester, Pennsylvania yet now resides in the heart of the Rocky Mountains in Boulder, Co. Sarah's dance path began at Naropa University, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Music and Dance/Movement Studies. A passionate exploration of movement traditions ensued, involving West African and Haitian dance, Tai Chi, Contact Improvisation and various Yoga forms. (Plus Hip-Hop night on the weekends...)
An intense love for African music and traditional dance led to Sarah to Ghana, West Africa in 2001 where she studied with Hayor Dance Ensemble. Returning to Colorado she then joined Logo Ligi, an African dance performance troupe based out of Bantaba World Dance and Music Studios, led by master drummer and dancer Maputo Mensah. After five years of African dance obsession, Sarah found another studio, Alchemy of Movement, and fell in love with NIA.
After years of NIA classes, Sarah came across Soul Sweat, knew she had found her class, and needed to teach. Souls Sweat is "new edge dance fitness", and is in the same vain as NIA, but with high energy choreography and music. After two years of deep focus in this area, Sarah completed her intensive teacher training, and now draws on her own choreography to create individual classes. Expect an incredibly vibrant class of mind/body coordination, breath and layered movements, and a focusing on love of the body. Come move for joy and fun!
